How does Ribavirin work?

Ribavirin, is a nucleoside analogue with broad-spectrum antiviral activity. Its exact mechanism of action against HCV is not fully elucidated, but it is believed to interfere with viral replication, inhibiting the virus’s ability to multiply and spread within the body.
